CHILDREN’S BEGINNING TAGALOG

This class is for children ages 5-12 years old.  Children will learn the Tagalog Alphabet and basic words.

CONVERSATIONAL ADULT TAGALOGtagalog wordsThis class is for ages 13 and up.  Students in this class will learn basic conversational tagalog.

Classes are October 6, 2022 and October 14, 2022.

FILIPINO COOKING – Pop-Up Classes will be TBD

Students will learn how to cook traditional main courses and desserts.  Cookware and ingredients will be provided to all students.  This is an interactive class and students will be able to prep food as well as cook (and eat!) food prepared.

CHILDREN’S TINIKLING  DANCE CLASS

Children will learn the Philippine National Dance, Tinikling.  They will learn the basic pattern to “clap” for tinikling dancers, as well as basic dance steps.  At the end of the term, the students will do a short performance of the dance.

FILIPINO PAROL WORKSHOP – TBD

Parol Workshop

This special workshop will only be available at the “Pasko Sa Bayan” Event that will be held on TBD.  Students will learn how to the make the Christmas Parol.

      Beginning August 22, we will be offering Filipino Cooking Classes from 6:30 – 7:30 for 7 weeks at Riverside Methodist Church. Our school is partnering with the church for our Filipino Cooking Classes. The cost for the classes is $65. Please check out our website to see the full menu of classes.
